Originally incorporated in 1850, this cemetery is the final resting place of two Kentucky governors, equine artist Edward Troye, Restoration Movement educator Thornton Fitzhugh Johnson, founder of the Kentucky Medical Association Dr. William L Sutton, and reformer Anne Payne Coffman. Also buried here is Barbara Ann Hackman Taylor, originally an unidentified murder victim found wrapped in a tarp in May 1968.
